Terms of Service
Effective August 13, 2026 · Last updated August 13, 2026
These Terms of Service govern your use of StudioKit AI (“StudioKit”, “we”, “us”). Please read them carefully — they explain what you can expect from us, and what we expect from you.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, or by otherwise accessing or using StudioKit, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using StudioKit on behalf of a company or other organisation, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that organisation, and “you” refers to it. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the service.
2. Description of Service
StudioKit is a short-form video platform. You supply a long-form source video — by uploading a file or providing a link — and we transcribe it, identify moments that work as standalone clips, reframe them for vertical, square, or landscape playback, and render captions into the finished clip. The platform also includes an editor, a posting calendar, and analytics.
We are continuously developing the service. Features may be added, changed, or removed, and output quality varies with the quality of your source material. We do not guarantee any particular result, reach, or engagement for content produced with StudioKit.
3. Use of the Service
You need an account to use StudioKit. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details, for keeping your credentials secure, and for all activity that happens under your account.
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis and renew automatically until cancelled. Each plan includes a monthly allowance for generating clips; allowances reset at the start of each billing period and do not carry over. You may cancel at any time from your account settings, and your plan will remain active until the end of the period you have already paid for.
4. User Conduct
You agree not to use StudioKit to:
- Process video you do not own or otherwise have the rights to use.
- Create or distribute content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, or sexually explicit, or that depicts minors inappropriately.
- Impersonate any person or organisation, or misrepresent a clip as authorised by someone who did not authorise it.
- Infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
- Circumvent plan limits, resell access to the service, or share your account with people outside your organisation.
- Probe, scrape, overload, or interfere with the service or the infrastructure it runs on.
We may suspend or remove content and accounts that violate these rules, and may report unlawful activity to the relevant authorities.
5. Intellectual Property
Your content. You keep all rights to the source video you provide and to the clips StudioKit produces from it. You grant us a limited licence to store, process, and transmit that content for the sole purpose of operating the service for you — for example, transcribing your video and rendering your clips.
Your responsibility. You are responsible for holding the rights to everything you put into StudioKit, including any music, footage, or third-party material contained in your source video. Clipping someone else’s video does not transfer their rights to you.
Our content. The StudioKit platform, its interface, branding, and underlying software remain our property and are protected by intellectual property law. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our name or branding without our written permission.
6. Termination
You may stop using StudioKit and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if we are required to by law, or if we discontinue the service. When an account is terminated, we may delete the projects, source files, and clips associated with it — export anything you want to keep before you cancel.
7. Refund Policy
Subscription fees are charged in advance and are generally non-refundable, including for partial billing periods and for allowances you did not use. If something went wrong on our side — a failed render you were charged for, or a duplicate charge — contact us at support@studiokit.ai and we will make it right. Nothing here limits refund rights you have under applicable consumer law.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
StudioKit is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that clip selection or captions will be accurate, or that any content you create will perform on any platform.
9. Age Restriction
You must be at least 13 years old to use StudioKit, and at least 18 to purchase a paid plan. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only use the service with the involvement of a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, StudioKit will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill arising out of your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as the service changes. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date above, and for material changes we will give you notice in the app or by email. Continuing to use StudioKit after a change takes effect means you accept the revised Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [your state/country], without regard to its conflict of law rules, and the courts located there will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
